Hailing from Australia, Chris Zoupa is a Melbourne based guitarist, teacher, songwriter and author of music theory books, as well as a part time music producer. Chris is a multi-instrumentalist and arranger, using his guitar, bass, and keyboard & piano knowledge to work with clients across any genre of music. Chris currently plays guitar in Australia’s premier progressive rock outfit TERAMAZE, whom over the past five years have released five albums, and have created a reputation for crafting music with quality and quantity. In the last few years, Chris has worked with Catalyst Crime, Modality, and Gary Dranow. Currently, he has amassed 180,000 subscribers, written many instructional and educational articles on UltimateGuitar.com, as well as authored six music theory books under the Fundamental Changes Publishing house. Chris published books cover themes of composition, advanced guitar techniques, theory and modal application and improvisation, and are each written with a sense of humour and flair unique to the author.
