Silvio was born in Lecco (Italy) in 1984 and began playing the drums when he was 8 years old. At the age of 17 he moved to Milan to study at Centro Professione Musica. From 1999 to 2005 he attended the Civici Corsi di Jazz in Milan, where he studied drums performance with Tony Arco and jazz ensemble with Marco Vaggi, graduating with full marks. He also studied with Bruce Becker, Bob Moses, Dave Weckl, Lenny White and Lele Melotti. During those same years he shared the stage with many artists such as Davide Van De Sfroos, Francesco Piu, Tonino Carotone, Eugenio Finardi, Enrico Ruggeri, Alberto Patrucco, Fabrizio Consoli, Franco Cerrri and Andrea Mirò.
